Black Car Service planning guide
A black car quote is useful only when you know what trip it covers. A low base price can describe a simpler journey than the one you need, while a higher total may already include items shown separately elsewhere.
Give each provider the same trip
Start with the exact addresses, date, pickup time, passenger count and bags. “Airport to Atlanta” leaves out both the destination and the airport meeting arrangement. A transfer to Downtown, a Buckhead hotel and a home in Alpharetta are different requests.
Add known stops from the beginning. A restaurant pickup followed by two home drop-offs should not be compared with a quote for one direct destination. If someone else is traveling, include the passenger’s working phone number.
| Quote detail | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Route | Street addresses and extra stops | Defines the journey being priced |
| Vehicle | Class, passengers and luggage | Avoids comparing unlike vehicle options |
| Airport pickup | Flight and inside or curbside request | Defines meeting and timing needs |
| Return | Separate date, time and pickup address | Shows whether both directions are included |
Ask what the total includes
Request an itemized written total. Do not assume “flat rate” means that every possible route change is included, or that gratuity is handled the same way by every company.
The existing ATL Limo page contains general market estimates explicitly labeled as estimates. They are not confirmed ATL Limo fares. For your booking, use the quote issued for your date and itinerary.
| Item | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| Base transport | Does this cover the complete route and chosen vehicle? |
| Waiting | When does waiting start, what is included and what follows? |
| Parking and tolls | Included, estimated or added if incurred? |
| Gratuity and fees | Included in the total, optional or separately charged? |
| Extra stops | What changes the quoted amount? |
| Cancellation or changes | Which deadlines and charges apply to this reservation? |
Compare airport readiness, not just landing time
Flight arrival and passenger pickup are different moments. Checked bags, an international arrival or a changed flight can affect when you are ready. Give the correct flight details and report rebooking changes.
ATL Limo’s indexed airport and black-car pages state a 30-minute complimentary grace period beginning at the scheduled pickup time. Confirm how that scheduled time will be set for your flight and what charges follow the included period. Do not interpret that wording as unlimited waiting after landing.
For vehicle choice and luggage fit, use the airport car service page. For a specific terminal meeting arrangement, obtain the instructions with your reservation.
Keep the comparison in one small table
Make one row per provider with the written total, vehicle class, stops, included waiting and change terms. Mark any missing item “not yet confirmed” rather than assuming it is included.
If one quote is much lower, ask whether it describes the same trip before dismissing or accepting it. A change from an SUV to a sedan, an excluded return or a shorter reserved period can explain a difference without proving anything about service quality.
You can calculate a per-person share after the total and passenger count are confirmed. That helps a group budget; it does not turn a privately reserved vehicle into a per-seat fare.
Check the practical booking details before paying
Confirm the passenger contact, pickup entrance and how you will receive chauffeur or vehicle information. Review the payment and cancellation terms supplied for the reservation.
ATL Limo’s fleet page lists sedan, SUV and Sprinter choices. Ask about specific models or amenities before relying on them; a vehicle category alone does not promise every feature.
If the itinerary includes waiting through several meetings, compare hourly chauffeur service with separate rides. If it extends to Athens or another city, request the whole long-distance itinerary rather than applying an airport estimate.
A quote comparison worksheet you can copy
Paste this table into your notes or spreadsheet. Give each company the same dated itinerary, then fill it from its written response. A blank entry means the detail is still unconfirmed.
| Booking detail | Provider A | Provider B |
|---|---|---|
| Date, route and return included | [Confirm] | [Confirm] |
| Vehicle, passengers and complete luggage load | [Confirm] | [Confirm] |
| Total quoted charge | [Amount] | [Amount] |
| Waiting included; when the clock starts | [Confirm] | [Confirm] |
| Parking, tolls, fees and gratuity | [Included / separate] | [Included / separate] |
| Extra stops, extensions and change terms | [Confirm] | [Confirm] |
| Deposit, balance and cancellation terms | [Confirm] | [Confirm] |
Keep each quote’s date and reference with the table. If an item is charged separately, ask how it is calculated before calling one offer cheaper. For a day with long gaps, read the hourly-versus-transfer comparison. For a return from Athens, use the outbound and return planning guide.
Ask for a complete black car quote
Use the Black Car Service quote form with the complete trip. Ask for the total and included items so you can compare the booking on equal terms.
