Garden Lights Group Trips: Match Tickets to Pickup

Garden Lights 2026–27 · Group planning

Choose your return pickup before buying late-entry Garden Lights tickets. For a company outing or family group, the ride home can decide which admission time works. A later closing time does not automatically mean your hired vehicle can collect everyone later.

Atlanta Botanical Garden’s public holiday show runs November 14, 2026–January 10, 2027. The key timing difference is below. All times are Atlanta Eastern time.

Late entry needs a different return plan

Night Light tickets admit guests after 9:30 p.m. The Garden says a visit usually takes 1.5–2 hours. That late ticket is a poor match for a group relying on the published bus pickup window. Choose an earlier entry, or confirm a different permitted return arrangement before paying.

Work backward from when the group must be ready to board. Leave room for the walk from the displays to the agreed meeting point, gathering everyone and boarding. Do not make the pickup cutoff the time you start looking for missing passengers.

If some guests want to stay later, settle their separate return ride before choosing the shared ticket time. Make clear who is leaving with the group and who has arranged their own journey.

Coordinate the ticket order and vehicle together

Groups larger than eight must call the Garden ticket office at 404-671-3043, open 9 a.m.–5 p.m., and disclose a bus or shuttle arrival. Those vehicles must leave the property after unloading; on-site bus/shuttle parking is unavailable.

Tell the ticket office the actual vehicle type, not just “private transportation.” Ask which entry, loading location and return window apply to it. Then give the transport provider the same instructions. A sedan, SUV or Sprinter should not be assigned a bus rule—or an exemption—based on its name alone.

Get the meeting location in writing before sharing it with guests. A general map pin for the Garden does not tell a driver where your particular vehicle may load. Include any walking or mobility needs when checking that location.

Check the official Garden Lights ticket page and group FAQ before booking and again near your visit. It is the source for the event rules summarized here.

Reserve the ride around the agreed plan

When comparing hourly chauffeur service and separate transfers, ask how the return is handled while the vehicle is off-site. Hourly hire does not grant permission to wait at a venue entrance. Confirm the collection time, how to reach the driver and what happens if your group changes its departure.

For a private wedding rather than public show admission, use the Botanical Garden wedding transportation guide and your event team’s instructions. Keep the two plans separate; a wedding arrangement does not establish access for a Garden Lights outing.

Plan your Garden Lights ride

For ATL Limo chauffeur service, send your visit date, group size, starting address, chosen ticket time and venue-confirmed return instructions. Ask for a suitable vehicle and a trip-specific quote before committing to the ride.
