Atlanta Falcons Game-Day Transportation Guide
The next confirmed Falcons home games are against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 8:20 p.m. and the Chicago Bears on Sunday, October 18 at 1 p.m. Both are at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Evening and afternoon games create different return needs, so do not use one plan for every kickoff.
Schedule and transportation facts were checked September 28, 2026. NFL times, road controls and venue operations can change. Recheck the event and service alerts before travel. This guide will be updated for schedule changes and reused as an evergreen stadium-arrival guide after the 2026 season.
MARTA, parking or private car?
| Option | Works best when | Plan before leaving |
|---|---|---|
| MARTA | You can use rail and walk from SEC District or Vine City | Fare payment, service alerts and the last connection you need |
| Reserved parking | You need your own vehicle before or after the game | Buy the correct event space and follow the assigned lot route |
| Prebooked car | A group, hotel pickup, airport trip or fixed return matters | Choose the pickup zone, share a phone number and agree on a fallback |
The shortest-looking route is not always the simplest. Stadium traffic controls can move cars away from the curb. Build the trip around the official station, lot or pickup zone rather than a generic stadium address.
Ride MARTA from ATL Airport or Downtown
From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, board a northbound Red or Gold Line train. At Five Points, transfer to a westbound Blue or Green Line train. Exit at SEC District or Vine City, then follow stadium signs. MARTA lists the standard rail fare as $2.50 each way.
From a Downtown hotel, walking may be simpler if the route suits your group. Otherwise, use Five Points for the short westbound rail connection. Check live service before leaving; large events can change crowd flow even when trains are running.
Drive only with a confirmed parking plan
Use the parking instructions tied to your event and buy the correct space before game day. Save the pass offline, confirm the vehicle-height rules if relevant, and route to the assigned lot—not just Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A general stadium pin can lead into closed streets or the wrong side of the venue.
Leave time to park, walk, pass security and find the gate on your ticket. After the game, wait for traffic staff to release the lot and follow their direction. A familiar inbound street may not be open in the same direction for departure.
Use the stadium’s designated pickup zones
Mercedes-Benz Stadium lists two rideshare areas. Zone 1 is at GWCC Bus Lane C on Northside Drive. It is best for guests leaving Gate 1 and heading north. The stadium describes the walk across The Home Depot Backyard bridge as about 10 minutes.
Zone 2 is on Broad Street between Trinity Avenue and Mitchell Street. It is best for Gates 2–4 and can provide quicker access toward the airport, I-20 and I-75/85. The stadium also describes this walk as about 10 minutes.
A prebooked car still needs a legal meeting point. Choose the zone before kickoff, but allow the chauffeur and passenger to change to the other official area if police or event staff redirect traffic. Use the exact zone name in messages. “Outside the stadium” is not enough.
Plan a hotel, airport or group trip
Send one person the full plan: hotel or airport pickup point, passenger count, game, kickoff time, selected drop-off and postgame zone. If guests arrive at ATL on different flights, use actual ready times rather than scheduled landing times. Our staggered-flight pickup guide explains how to group airport departures.
For a Buckhead hotel, compare a direct vehicle with MARTA. Our Atlanta Airport–Buckhead guide explains the Red Line route and when luggage, a group or a fixed departure can make a car easier.
ATL Limo’s black car service can be quoted for a hotel, airport or group trip. Share all stops and whether you need a one-way transfer, round trip or vehicle held for the evening. Vehicle choice must match the passenger count and luggage; do not assume every bag fits simply because every seat does.
Make the postgame plan before kickoff
Pick one indoor meeting landmark for your group, then one outdoor transport point. Decide how long the party will wait for a missing guest. Keep one live phone number with the trip organizer and the chauffeur.
For the October 11 night game, check the rail connection and late hotel access. For the October 18 afternoon game, plan for overlapping Downtown traffic and other events. If the group will eat after the game, name the restaurant before travel so the route and waiting arrangement are clear.
