P3•EDU 2026 Atlanta Transportation: Plan the Two-Venue Move

Conference arrival guide · November 2–4, 2026

P3•EDU 2026 uses two Atlanta addresses before its main program begins. Most sessions are at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, but Monday’s welcome reception is at the Fox Theatre. The useful transport plan connects the airport, the correct hotel and that first evening move.

Verified October 5, 2026: The organizer lists the event for November 2–4. Its program is marked draft and may change. Recheck the official schedule before travel.

1. Airport arrival

Record the terminal, landing time, bags and the traveler’s actual hotel.

2. Welcome reception

Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree Street NE, Monday from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

3. Main program

Georgia Tech Hotel, 800 Spring Street NW, with early starts Tuesday and Wednesday.

Confirm the hotel before choosing the airport ride

The official event page says attendees must arrange their own transportation from ATL. It lists the Georgia Tech Hotel as the conference site and the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown as another hotel option. The Georgia Tech room block is shown as sold out, so not every attendee will stay at the main venue.

Send the chauffeur or driver the traveler’s confirmed hotel address, not only the event name. A guest staying at the Renaissance should not be dropped at the Georgia Tech Hotel with luggage just because sessions meet there the next morning.

Compare MARTA, taxi and a reserved car by the final address

MARTA’s Airport Station is inside the Domestic Terminal between the North and South baggage claims. Red and Gold Line trains run north from the airport. The standard fare is $2.50 for one ride, with up to four transfers in three hours when the same payment method is used.

The Georgia Tech Hotel says guests can connect from Midtown Station using Georgia Tech’s complimentary Tech Trolley, subject to its current schedule. International arrivals must first account for the terminal connection before treating rail as the simple option.

Public transport can fit when

  • The traveler can manage luggage through the terminal and station.
  • The hotel is confirmed near the chosen stop.
  • Arrival time matches current rail and trolley service.
  • No host needs a direct curb-to-hotel handoff.

A reserved vehicle can fit when

  • An assistant needs one accountable pickup plan.
  • The passenger has several bags or mobility needs.
  • The flight arrives near a reception or meeting deadline.
  • Several colleagues can share one confirmed destination.

ATL currently lists a Midtown taxi flat fare of $39.50 for one passenger, including its stated surcharge, plus $2 for each additional passenger. Airport fares and pickup rules can change, so check ATL’s current ground-transportation page before using that figure.

Plan the Fox Theatre move as a separate trip

The Monday welcome reception is listed for 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Fox Theatre. The organizer says contracted hotels are within walking distance and does not provide transportation to the reception. “Walking distance” does not mean every guest should walk with luggage, in rain, or immediately after a delayed flight.

The Fox Theatre says North Avenue MARTA Station is one block west. Its parking page lists nearby lots and says prices typically range from $15 to $75, subject to the event and lot. Accessible parking is closest in the Yellow Lot, Georgian Terrace deck and Orange Lot, subject to availability.

Protect the early Tuesday and Wednesday starts

The draft schedule shows registration and breakfast at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, opening remarks at 8:15 a.m., and another 7:45 a.m. start Wednesday. An airport arrival on Tuesday morning creates a tighter problem than a Monday arrival because baggage claim and the Midtown trip sit directly in front of the program.

  • Monday arrival: decide whether the guest reaches the hotel before the Fox reception.
  • Tuesday arrival: compare the flight’s realistic curb-ready time with the session the traveler must attend.
  • Separate hotels: give each passenger the correct morning pickup point.
  • Group departure: build the airport return from each flight’s terminal and required arrival target.

For the flight home, use the separate ATL group-departure guide to work backward from each flight. For a host arranging travel for one executive or guest, the assistant’s trip brief lists the details that prevent conflicting instructions.

Send one transport brief for the full event

Keep the airport arrival, Monday reception and conference mornings in one approved document. Mark each movement as walking, MARTA, taxi or reserved vehicle. Add a decision owner so travelers do not send competing changes to the driver.

  • Traveler name and mobile number
  • Flight number, terminal and bag count
  • Confirmed hotel name and street address
  • Fox Theatre attendance decision
  • Tuesday and Wednesday pickup times
  • Return flight and airport-arrival target
  • One contact authorized to change the plan

Request a conference transportation plan

Send the passenger count, flight details, hotel addresses, reception plan and required session times. ATL Limo can quote the requested movements without treating an event schedule as a fixed transport promise.
